For restaurants
The menu changes. The allergens are still right.
For restaurants, trattorias and inns: a menu with proper labelling, requests for Friday’s table and May’s big celebration, gift vouchers that sell at night. And every change is one sentence in the chat.
Sound familiar?
New seasonal menu, old allergen list.
-
Allergens in the footnote
Fourteen major allergens, additives on top, your own letters, and with every new menu the question whether the labels still match the dishes.
-
Bookings on three channels
Phone, email, Instagram messages. By evening nobody knows exactly which request has already been confirmed.
-
Celebrations as email ping-pong
How many guests, which menu, the hall or the terrace? Ten emails go back and forth before there’s an offer.
-
Commission per guest
Booking portals take a cut of every cover and keep the guest data for themselves.
With tischlein
What changes for your restaurant.
-
Allergens, done right once
Your own labelling, a legend that writes itself and filters for guests. Claude checks the menu and shows you where information is missing.
„Check the new autumn menu for allergens and show me what’s missing.“
-
Seasonal menus with a start and an end
Asparagus season, game weeks, truffles: a menu with a date range goes online and offline by itself.
„The asparagus menu runs from 15 April to 24 June.“
-
A lunch menu that changes on time
Visible Monday to Friday at lunchtime, with this week’s dishes. Sold out is one word in the chat.
„Lunch this week: Monday saltimbocca, Tuesday risotto, €12.90 each.“
-
Bookings without a portal
Guests can only request times when your kitchen is cooking. You confirm by chat or email, and the guest gets the reply in their language.
„Confirm the table for eight on Saturday at 7 pm.“
-
A page for every occasion
Your event venue with its own pages for weddings, christenings, company parties or Christmas dinners. The form asks for the occasion, date and number of guests right away.
„Add a “First Communion” page to our event venue.“
-
Gift vouchers around the clock
Cash vouchers and set menus to give away, paid via Stripe. The money goes straight to you, the voucher to the guest as a PDF.
„Offer a “dinner for two” voucher for €98.“
The building blocks
What a restaurant actually needs from tischlein.

In practice
La Fortuna and Steg 4: two restaurants on the water in Konstanz.
Both are moving to tischlein right now, and their new websites are still drafts. What you read here is already in them.
-
La Fortuna Italian restaurant
Food, drinks and lunch menus instead of Google Drive PDFs, in German, English and Italian. An event venue page with eight occasions from christenings to company parties, a Halloween evening with sign-up and landing pages such as “gluten-free pizza in Konstanz”.
-
Steg 4 Restaurant at the harbour
Five menus from the food menu to the wine list, with the “Bavarian weeks” running for a fixed period. Bookings through its own form instead of a third-party widget, plus pages for birthdays, company parties, Christmas dinners and weddings.
Questions from restaurants
How do our allergens get into the menu?
Send a photo or PDF of your menu to the chat. tischlein takes over dishes, prices and your own labelling, and Claude shows you where information is missing or doesn’t match. You remain responsible for the information, which is why you see every change as a preview first.
Does tischlein replace our booking system?
For requests, yes: guests request online, and you confirm by chat or email. A floor plan with fixed table assignment isn’t available yet. If you rely on one, we link to your existing system.
Do you take commission on bookings?
No. Bookings and party requests are included in the monthly price. Gift voucher and ticket sales carry a small fee per sale, the newsletter is billed per send. All prices are on the pricing page.
Can we print the menu too?
Yes. tischlein creates a print PDF in your design. It always has the same prices and allergens as the menu on the website.
We have a hall for celebrations. How do we show it?
As an event venue page with sub-pages for every occasion, from weddings to funeral receptions. Claude writes the pages with you, and the request form asks for the occasion, date and number of guests.
